Why Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and behavior. CBT focuses on teaching you effective coping strategies for dealing with a variety of problems throughout life. CBT can help you make sense of overwhelming problems by breaking them down into smaller parts.

Research shows this technique is the most effective form of therapy to treat a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief, anger, and adhd.

This is my primary focus for treatment as I have found it to be the most helpful to my clients.
